Clingan's goal is to service companies in the metals industry efficiently and economically by offering a variety of steel coil products and services under one roof, and handle many specialty items our competitors are unable to fill. We offer slit, slit and edged, and slit, edged and cut to length. We pride ourselves on being responsive to customer needs. We provide maximum flexibility in order to respond promptly to all orders, both routine and emergency. Shipments are delivered by Clingan's own trucks or by common carrier, whichever will better serve the customer's needs. All Clingan employees and suppliers are dedicated to sound quality assurance practices, assuring that customer specifications are rigidly followed and documented. Instruments are calibrated daily and meticulous quality management practices are followed. On-site chemical analysis is available utilizing our full-ranged certified spectrometer. In ten short years, we have gone from one slitter and one edging line to four slitters with seven heads and ten edging lines. We have four reduction mills for close tolerances. We traverse wind slit, and slit and edge metals in gauges from .010 to .200 and in coil sizes from 500 lb. to 3,500 lb. Small orders are an important part of our business. Of our 600 orders each month, over half are less than 1,000 lb. and 20 percent are for 300 lb. or less.
